I'm very happy that I've got this link from a friend. :-)

Some years ago I experimented with cheap sound software. The gui elements were actually taken from screenshots of an old unix system and not from OS 8 or earlier versions. If I recall it correctly the framework of the gui was called X Toolkit (or xtk). I don't remember the name of the sound program but it couldn't be a good one. :-)

There were two version of "adlib". The first edition was limited to 40 pieces or so and was sent out to friends of the label tom (now known as tomlab) all over the world. The cover of the second edition was almost done by myself. I sent the people of kraak some cover proposals and instead of picking one they decided the make a little booklet. That's almost the whole story.

Great to read that there are people out there that are buying cd's for their cover. My oh my... How time is changing... That was almost 10 years ago..

Greetings, *Kristian

"BEATLES" was embossed on the sleeve. It came with four color portraits and a pull out collage posters with lyrics on the backside. I'm thinking about scanning it and submitting it. Yes, the white album is more minimalist on the sleeve but they supplemented it with all the pullouts. The comment was really based on the cover. The Beatles CDs out now do not do the original album art justice.

Nah I think that's not too valid as this has artwork on it. White's concept was nothing but band name
