I had to do a second take when I saw this. It hits you after a few seconds how smart this cover is.
10 years of Big Dada records and paraphernalia were layed it out in a museum/gallery space to give it a tongue-in-cheek artifact like presence. The art direction is spot on and as with all of Oscar & Ewan’s work theirs always and underlying concept that holds it all together.
The type on the album is treated in a simple fashion. I also like the message from Big Dada founder Will Ashon on the inside of the packaging.
I love this photo used for the CD gate fold of the entire Big Dada collection spread out.
The DVD release is also given the same museum treatment, this time with VHS and Beta tapes.
The images were photographed in St Bride Printing Library with James Musgrave.
Bid Dada is part of Ninja Tune which also prides itself on releasing quality artwork.
