Boards of Canada: Music has the Right to Children

From a distance it looks like a folk album but the colours and faceless figures create an emotion that can only be desctibed as uncomfortable. In an genre dominated with hi-tech imagery clean design this stands out as the breakthrough album for the genre and the band. and The bauhaus type font is a nice touch too.
The music like this cover is timeless. It still sounds good after 8 years of contstant play.
After hearing this album at work I rushed to the music store and bought the album. I couldn’t wait to listen to it by myself with headphones on.

I agree - it’s still an awesome album and the cover really suits the music: other worldly, dreamy and just down-right different.

My copy has a sticker on with (I think) the band’s name written in Braille.
