I did notice the cat one evening at a friend’s place while trying to make out some of the covers in the picture. That’s when I noticed the Mario Brothers ad.

I wonder.. has anyone ever been able to identify a few covers on this ?

I have the original MoWax 1996 Ltd CD release of this… It is a card slipcase, with an LP style gatefold interior containing a fabric CD sleeve (as with many MoWax releases on CD at that time), separate booklet, and mail-in registration card.

It’s a shame I didn’t look after them better (several house moves since), as this and the original CD version of the Spiritualized LP ‘Ladies and Gentlemen…’ in the Pill box were the ones that got me into limited edition packaging.

The store is called simply “Records” and is on K street in Sacramento.

The newly relocated store is featured on the DVD “Scratch”…it is said that most of endtroducing was made from records taken from the basement there.

Yup, confirmed. Endtroducing came out in ’96, but the Haight Amoeba opened in ’97 (according to wikipedia articles on dj shadow and amoeba records)

I’m pretty sure Amoeba on Haight did not exist at that time. Could be wrong, though. I think it was still Rock N Bowl?
