This cover is ‘heavily’ influenced by the cover of the penguin book ‘Jubb’ by Keith Waterhouse. Ive been looking online for a reference alas i cant find one. If you have the Seven Hundred Penguins book, its in there though – page 97. The typographic treatment, especially the arrow, is a direct take on the Jubb cover.
