Those Currin artworks, I thought they were they part of the album sleeve. I got TIH just recently (the non-deluxe) and it was not porny at all. It was actually humorous. Didn't know this caused a stir back then. And how could you miss the pornstar dude in his bathrobe?
I think this album was an attempt to erase the fancy Britpop image of the band with tracks like Party Hard where Jarvis trying to sound like David Bowie, the Neneh Cherry vocals, vocoder heavy on Seductive
BArry, and some Radiohead-ish tracks. I really want to see the live version of the lesser known tracks, it should be interesting how it will fare live with the theremins, vocoders and added instruments. I've only seen TiH, Dishes and the Fear.

As this was written by Alex the other writer I can't comment on his reasons but you are right on the first instance of "its" in this article.

However do we really want to nit pick at this? I'm more interested on your thoughts on the album cover, the band, the music or the content of the article itself than a grammatical issue.

sorry, will you EVER get the distinction between "it's" and "its" correct? it's not just clumsy, you seem to be CONVINCED that they're the other way around in all your articles.

Always thought this was among the worst self-congratulatory album covers of that era. Mediocre band.

As I said thaddues, "I imagine". I was describing the way I felt the character in the song "A Little Soul" might have reacted to the cover. I would not be presumptive enough to even speculate how your mate would react to it. Will try and track down the Zappa interview and am thrilled you got it touch. Cheers, Alex.

Interesting. I always saw the blurring as an attempt to get a (seedy) videotape look. And that last sentence is half humour, all poetry. Good job!
