The Cops: Drop It In Their Laps
The albums 80s feel certainly carries across to the cover of the album, the single and their previous EP. I can’t tell if it’s a painting or a photo as I don’t own this album but either way it feel fresh even though it’s trying to go retro.
The previously released EP “80 In the Shade” has a cryptic image of a sword as well.
This reminds me of Steely Dan’s Aja from 1977.
The covers were designed by Dale Harrison, of Cyclic Defrost fame with photos by Blondie.
