My ratio is about 1 out of 40-- being the work of females in my LP, CD collections. Enya is brilliant to make kids all sleepy. Garbage is great when I am grouchy. Lulu is amazing early female punk 60s vocals. <br>I think the work of males will always make me FEEL ALIVE. When buying music or using up my time for the arts, I value being drenched in the work of males to 'feel alive'.
It is sad knowing just how hard local women work at being musicians/performers attempting to win some of the attention. I find the female voice much nicer than a male's, for one, and female songwriters have done amazing song - from Joni Mitchell to Bjork.<br><br>To be honest, the only problem is people like yourself who think women just can't be talented musicians.
